8k and 8K relay race on the beautiful Morganton, NC Greenway along the Catawba River.
The greenway is mostly flat with slight rolling hills and beautiful scenery!
The Good Race is a fundraising event, but it is also an opportunity for runners and local residents to participate in a fun day of exercise, food and fellowship while supporting and learning about Good Samaritan Clinic, a unique and truly exceptional charitable clinic in western North Carolina.

Directions to race
Take 1-40 Exit 100, Jamestown Road. If traveling eastbound turn left at end of ramp; if westbound, turn right. Proceed through light at intersection of Jamestown Road and US 70 where Jamestown Road becomes Independence Boulevard. Continue straight on Independence and turn right at next light (Hwy 181). Hardee's will be on your right. At next traffic light, turn left onto Sandford Drive and continue for approximately 1/2 mile to turn left into Catawba Meadows.

Registration and packet pick-up opens at 8:30am
Long sleeve technical t-shirts guaranteed to all pre-registrants. Only a limited number available on race day so register early!!
8K and Relay start at 10:00am
Relay points at 2K, 4K and 6K; water stations at the 2K & 2K relay points
Plentiful parking and restroom facilities.
Great door prizes, goody bags and post race food!
