We have a big goal ahead of us to create a designated bereavement room. We want this to include a more homelike setting with an actual crib, a larger hospital bed to allow mom and dad to lay in bed together with baby, and soundproof walls as the last thing you want to hear after delivering a baby sleeping is the cries of a living baby next door. This may take us a couple of years to accomplish but it is something we are excited about doing for our local community.
We also plan to continue donating casting kits, silver thumbprint charms, and blankets to local hospitals for bereaved families to help make memories with their babies.
We truly appreciate everyone’s help in helping us work to these goals!!! We are currently in the works of creating a nonprofit organization as well. More info to come on that soon!
