Thanks to your support in 2023, we were able to donate $85,000 to the Patriot Military Family Foundation and their Veteran Mental Health Initiative. This 8th year will be the final year for our ∞ Run the Jake 5k ∞, but Jake’s legacy will live on forever!
Over the past 7 years, this event has become a beloved tradition in our community, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to honor and remember Jake, while giving back to our military and veteran families. We have donated $340,000 in Jake’s honor and created a legacy for our fallen soldier. As we prepare for this final year of Run the Jake 5k, we want to thank everyone who has helped to make this event successful, from the runners and spectators to our volunteers and generous sponsors. Together, we have created something truly special, and we know that Jake is looking proudly down at us from heaven. Let us never forget the sacrifice he made for us and our nation.
This 8th and final year, our proceeds will go Patriot Military Family Foundation and the Grubb Family YMCA. We desire to continue to give back to our military and veteran families this final year, as well as to our local community members who remember and love Jake dearly. We will keep Jake’s memory alive forever in our hearts and strive to be worthy of the freedoms he and many others have fought and died for. Mark your calendars for November 9, 2024!
