Donations will be accepted for the Caraway Foundation in Ansonville, NC. The students picked the Caraway Foundation as their benefit as many of them, including family and friends have benefited from The Caraway Foundation over the years.
The Caraway Foundation provides resources that benefit students with their educational needs and supports those who have experienced and is going through a chronic illness by providing health related resources.
The Caraway Foundation was founded in 2007'' by Angela Caraway one night while grocery shopping in Kroger grocery store in Garner, NC. While shopping in Kroger, she heard a voice say, “buy those backpacks.” At first Angela ignored the voice and continued shopping for her items, then the voice spoke again and this time it said, “buy ALL of those backpacks.” As crazy as it sounded, Angela obeyed the voice as she knew it was God speaking to her. Upon arriving home, Angela wrote out the details of The Caraway Foundation and began planning the Foundation’s first event – a seminar on College Preparedness. Angela has continued working daily on securing funding and creating meaningful programs for the community. Angela continues to listen to God and seek God’s guidance for ALL things.
