The Bearcat Pride 5k will help support the Anson High Cross Country Program. Last season, the Anson Bearcats Cross Country program grew to 20 runners. For the first time in over 15-years, the Anson Bearcats fielded both boys and girls teams and competed at the Rocky River Conference Meet and at Regionals.
For the upcoming fall season, the Anson Bearcats will host meets at home and we will host the Mid-West 2A Regionals in Dodson, NC. Yes, we will host the Regionals in Dodson, a few miles west of Mt. Airy.
The new Anson Middle School is being built next door to Anson High School. Once completed, our goal is to construct a cross-country course connecting the two schools.
