Staplehurst Fire is small department, working hard to help our community. To better serve, we are trying to replace our 40yo fire truck to something that works better for the fires we face today. The truck we are using is a old military surplus chevy diesel from 1986. While it does work, it doesn't hold a lot of water and it is underpowered so we can not put a bigger tank on it. This is why our department is working hard to get a new truck. It has been very dry winters the last few years which makes fires a real problem. Any help we can get here we are very appreciative.
