Our Lady of Mount Carmel School serves communities located in Monmouth County under the direction of the Office of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Trenton.

Founded in 1923 as an institution of learning for children of folks immigrating from Italy. The school has been impacted by historical changes over these last eighty-six years.

Today, the school has a culturally diverse population of God’s children. Many of the students reside in the economically challenged neighborhoods of Asbury Park. Mt. Carmel continues to be a beacon of hope for those in need of light in children’s lives.
