Description
Sue Cardamone was known to all of her friends and family as a knowledgeable, charismatic, and strong willed individual. She is remembered by all for her compassion and dedication to community service. As a health and physical education teacher, she had a lasting effect on the students and faculty at Laurel Springs Elementary School, Samuel S. Yellin Middle School, and Berlin Community School. As an educator, she was clear about her expectations: be passionate about your life goals and work hard and to achieve them.Along with her former co-workers and students; her husband (Gary), children (Evan, Geoffrey, Gregory, and Jennifer), parents (John and Rose), grandchildren (Alexandra, Olivia, and Evan Jr.), siblings, nieces, and nephews will always have the fondest memories of Sue and her desire to inspire.

Over 500 runners and walkers participate in the Sue Cardamone Scholarship Run. $16,000 in scholarship monies was raised and disbursed among local Berlin Community School and Eastern graduates. Please consider participating or sponsoring this worthwhile event. We are running for a brighter future!
