Izzy's Infantry Charge Against Cancer is going VIRTUAL!

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to make this year's event virtual.

Run or walk with us virtually to help in the fight against childhood cancer. You can create or join a fundraising team or run as an individual. All funds raised from the race will benefit families with children undergoing treatment who have been negatively impacted financial through the pandemic. Funds will also go toward childhood cancer research. Our goal is to provide support to families so all they have to worry about is helping their child through their treatment during these difficult times. 

Participants are guaranteed a long sleeve tee with our fun Halloween-inspired logo. We hope you will have fun with this event! Dress up for Halloween, go for a 5k run or walk, snap photos and share on social media using the #scareawaychildhoodcancer and #izzysinfantry

And don't forget to download a digital bib with the number 42 to represent the 42 chemo infusions Izzy underwent when she was a baby so you will carry our own Warrior Princess with you for additional inspiration.

This event benefits Izzy's Infantry: Fighting Childhood Cancer and Spinal Trauma, a Bridgewater-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Its mission, inspired by Isabel “Izzy Warrior Princess” who battles every day against a spinal cord tumor, is threefold: To fund research that will lead to better treatment options and a cure for childhood cancer; fund rehabilitation programs for children recovering from spinal cord injury; and improve the quality of life for children in treatment and their families through outreach programs and support groups.
