ABOUT THE 5K

Established in 2012, the Team SBH 5K has become one of our most popular fundraisers of the year. Every summer over 800 runners ranging from age 5 to 95 sign up to run through the seaside town of Deal, located just a few miles from Long Branch, NJ. Runners of all levels compete in our 5K; our elite runners tackle the Fast and Furious race, while our signature Diaper Dash gives our youngest supporters a chance to crawl across the finish line. Our “Cheer Squad” of over 500 spectators cheer their family and friends along the course. The event culminates with a brunch and award ceremony for the top runners in each age group. Proceeds from this event will be used by SBH to help children in need. This run is sponsored in memory of Diane Azark a”h.
