Parvin Anniversary Duathlon & 6k Trail Race #

The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. (designer of the Park) and the Civilian Conservation Corps Companies 1225 & 2229V (builders of the Park) as well as working with the Division of Parks and Forestry to create long-range plans for the enjoyment of outdoor recreation for future generations. Committee projects include regular road and water way cleanup, the annual Terror in the Timbers Halloween Hayride, the instatement of a Park Emergency Response Unit, and most recently the rebuilding of the parks beloved White Bridge. Funds raised for the committee go right back into future projects and events that encourage use and appreciation of the park.
