Lucky Paws Animal Assistance is a non-profit organization established in 2020 that aims to help relocate companion animals that are unwanted, abused, or neglected from overpopulated areas to high-demand areas. We also provide support for the basic needs and veterinary care of these animals to ensure their survival.
Not all the cases we encounter are easy. We often come across animals who are afraid of human touch, as well as those who have been left alone in pens for a long time or have suffered severe injuries and require rehabilitation. Our primary objective is to find a suitable rescue home for each animal that comes to us, tailored to their specific needs. Thanks to invaluable guidance, we have formed strong and genuine relationships with some amazing receiving rescues in the Northeast. By working together as a team and maintaining open communication, we ensure that every animal is placed in a forever home where they are set up to succeed.
We are committed to expanding our organization to assist in challenging situations such as covering surgery costs resulting from an accident or in life-threatening cases. We understand that establishing a non-profit rescue organization requires dedication and perseverance, but we are willing to put in the effort. Our goal is to make a meaningful impact and improve the lives of those who are in desperate need of our help.
For those who are left outside to run and survive on their own - those unwanted mothers and their puppies under the condemned trailer, the forgotten seniors, the beaten dogs that are starving for love and attention, those that are surrendered to overpopulated shelters, and those that are made to fight - we must take action to help and protect them.
