Empty Sky Memorial 5K

The second annual Empty Sky Memorial 5K will be held on Saturday, 9/08/18 at Liberty State Park, Jersey City.

Day of Race Registration will be $40.00 per ticket  on Saturday, September 8th 2018. Day of Race Registration Fee can be paid by Cash or Check made payable to: NJ 9/11 Memorial Foundation, Inc. 

Registration Check In opens at 8:30 am, Memorial Remembrance Ceremony will begin at 9:30 am and the Race begins at 10:00 AM. You can pay by Cash or Check made payable to: NJ 9/11 Memorial Foundation, Inc.

The NJ 9/11 Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a 501 C3 non-profit organization and its continual fundraising efforts help to provide for Empty Sky’s perpetual endowment providing ongoing care, maintenance and completion of Empty Sky’s outside steel panel walls. Their goal is to ensure the Empty Sky Memorial is preserved so it can continue to serve as a community memorial for visitors to reflect and remember for generations to follow.

The New Jersey 9/11 Memorial Foundation Board consists of Family Members who lost a loved one during the attacks and serve as all volunteers. New Jersey’s Empty Sky Memorial pays tribute and honors the 749 New Jersey Residents who lost their lives on that fateful day.
