Gibby's Gallop 5k/5mile (Indoor accomodations)

It's official:  Running a 5 Miler or Run/walking in our 5K will be a rememberance for our hero, son and friend!  In January of 2006, Morris Rugby and the Gibson Family started a memorial scholarship fund, "The Gibby," to honor the memory of their son and teammate David Gibson.  The Scholarship is given to a deserving senior from the Boys U18 Team at the conclusion of their spring season.  In 2014, the scholarship committee expanded the scholarship to award both a senior graduating boy and girl from the U18 Lions teams.  The scholarship is an award of financial aid to further his or her education and/or rugby career.  To date, The David Gibson memorial scholarship has awarded $24,000.  The criteria of the award includes leadership, dedication, commitment and club involvement.  This year, 2015, the 5K/5M run will raise funds for local Montville charities which will be announced soon. 

Trophies given to Top 3 Male & Female in both 5K and 5Mile.  Over 120 medals for both 5K and 5M with age groups 7-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29 and 10 year age groups through 80+ 

Top three largest teams // Top most represented H.S. Club or Group team awards.  Pre registered and many post participant registrants receive a short sleeve T-shirt and goodie bags while supplies last.  Individuals 7-18 years old entry $15 and USATF-NJ members receive $3 discount through September 26th...
