Description
Everyone is invited to participate in Mr. C'S Superman Run/Walk 5K in Pompton Lakes to raise money for the Albert Cannarozzi III Scholarship Fund on Sunday, April 24. Cannarozzi was a well-liked teacher at Lenox School for 15 years. He lived in Jefferson for 43 years and died in November 2013 from complications following a heart procedure.
Students and staff of Pompton Lakes schools who knew Mr. C are just a few supporting this fundraiser.
Albert N. Cannarozzi's enthusiasm for teaching "provided the base for a classroom where children were engaged and became active learners. His belief that all children could achieve their potential is legendary."
The 5K run/walk will raise scholarship funds for Pompton Lakes High School graduates. This event will be the third fundraiser for these scholarships. Here are some of the amenities and recognition awards being provided as part of this event.
Awards to the 1st Male and 1st Female Overall Finishers
Awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of the following age groups:
10-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Children Under 10 will receive a participation ribbon
Shirts while supplies last.
Event will be held RAIN or SHINE
