All donations will go directly to Champions For Life a 501(c)-3 not for profit organization, and be designated for use at the Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage.
The BBHC, as it's affectionately known, is a retreat and respite home for families with children who have life threatening or severely debilitating medical conditions. Children from the Central New York area and their families are invited into the beautiful, handsomely-appointed log cabin for a three day stay of rest and repose, all free of charge.
The BBHC is NOT a revenue generating program; Champions for Life fully financially supports the program, along with donations from our community, small grants from benefactor organizations, and events like the Easter Spirit 5K. In 2016, Champions for Life hosted nearly 65 families at the Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage. We hope to host more in 2017, with the goal of reaching 80 families per year. Please consider, in addition to your race fee, a small donation to the BBHC for efforts in the 2017 season.
