The 2nd annual Becky Addona TLC 5K has been Cancelled
While we have remained optimistic about holding the 2nd annual Becky Addona TLC 5K, the race which would have been held on June 20, 2020, has to be cancelled. Maintaining the health and safety of our participants and community is the first priority for our family. Teachers have submitted grants this spring, and we will still be awarding those grants in June 2020. We are so excited! Watch for more details soon!
If you have registered for the race, you may choose to get a full refund, or keep your registration as a donation to the fund this year. If you choose to not get a refund, you will receive a registration code for a free entry for our race next June.
Becky Addona was a teacher for many years and her students were of utmost importance each and every day. While it was always about the learning process, our mom understood that the basic needs of kids had to be met before they would be able to concentrate in the classroom. This year, in these unprecedented times, we hope you will join us in donating to the local community as everyone works to get back to normal.

Description
Becky Addona was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and dedicated elementary school educator who passed away in 2017 after a brief illness. The Becky Addona TLC Fund was established in her memory to provide support for teachers pursuing innovative ways to Teach, Learn and Create. The fund’s goal is to reward teachers who employ “many varied and unusual ways” to reach ALL students at every level through exciting and challenging classroom experiences.
Our family would like to continue awarding grants for many years to come. The Becky Addona TLC 5K walk/run on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Seneca Lake State Park lakefront will help us accomplish our goal. Your support will help fund future grants for Geneva elementary teachers, support local students, and defray the costs of organizing this fundraising event.
Packet Pickup:
Friday Evening: Bib and t-shirt pickup will take place at the Presbyterian Church in Geneva between 5pm and 7pm on Friday evening.

Saturday Morning: Bib and t-shirt pickup will take place at the registration tent near the start/finish arch from 7am - 8am prior to the race if you are not able to pick up on Friday.

Race Map
Our race will start in front of the Welcome Center and head toward the Seneca Lake State Park. We will run along the lake for 1.5 miles before you turn around and head back to finish in front of the Welcome Center. There will be a water station about the 1 mile marker that you will be able to stop at again on the way back about the 2 mile mark.
