Dear Parents & Guardians,
From Kindergarten through 5th grade, PS 199's PTA, faculty, and staff strive to support our children to become a confident and creative learner. Unfortunately, limited NYC Department of Education budgets only fund the basics. To provide a richer, more vibrant learning environment, our PTA spends approximately $600 per student. These funds provide for teaching assistants, enrichment programs, and vital learning resources such as books, test prep materials, technology, and much more.
Without your generosity, we would not be able to support ANY of the enrichment programs that our children enjoy. Your donation helps provide resources that greatly enhance your child’s learning.
We are kicking off our annual Family Giving campaign now. We hope for 100% family participation. Our annual Family Giving campaign is the most efficient way to fund all the resources our children count on. Please consider contributing. Donations of any size are welcome and appreciated.
