Wayne County Community Schools Present: The Future Run the Streets 5k. A 5k event that is for youth brought to you by youth. Wayne County Community Schools is a collaborative organization featuring many organizations across Wayne County to benefit the youth. Programs such as Wayne County Action Program, STEADY Work, Wayne MOST, Fingerlakes Community Schools, and many more! The youth who participate in the STEADY Work program have learned new skills, some of which have been put to use for the race such as t-shirt making, time management, along with many other skills. The goal for this event is to bring unity across Wayne County's youth along with showcasing the talents of the youth in Wayne County Community Schools and Wayne County altogether. There will be t-shirts for every participant along with prizes for winning youth, and apparel prizes for winning adults.
