Description
Up Up and Away is Presented by the Findlay Striders. The UUA is a Northwest Ohio classic race! 2018 is our 17th year! This event is held in conjunction with the Findlay Flag City Balloon Fest (Hot Air Balloons) and every dollar raised goes directly to Hancock County Special Olympics. Many participants come for the race and stay for the Balloon Fest. As always, our staging area will be on the South Side of Emory Adams Park in Findlay, OH (off 6th street) near the baseball diamonds. Our race course is flat and fast! A PERFECT opportunity to check your fitness progress for a fall marathon or tune up for Cross Country season. Our race course is certified, and chip timing will be utilized. We continue to start at 8:00 in the morning to "beat the heat" that is sure to come!
Again this year, participants will receive 1 complimentary drink ticket to the beer garden being hosted by Findlay Service League. There will be non-alcoholic refreshments available, and you must be 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.
For the safety of all participants, no pets, rollerblades, or bicycles will be permitted on the course. All registrations are non-refundable and non transferable.

Overall Male & Female, Masters Male & Female (40 and over)
Age Group Awards: 3 Deep Male & Female 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
There will be no duplication of awards.
We are offering a $100.00 cash award for new course records. Current records are held by Evan Gaynor 15:10 (2015) and Emily Stahl 18:42 (2017).
