Started in 2018, the Luckey Community Garden is located on the former Troy Webster Legion Property. It was made possible by the gracious donations from the Toledo Roadrunners and the Legion members. Local runner and event organizer Dianna Ashton, picked the Garden Club to be the race recipients charity. This gave the club the money to start the building of the garden. Each year it has grown a bit more, and has turned into a quiet place for a picnic or just a chance to catch your breath after a run. The club has 8 raised beds currently and plans to expand this spring. The pandemic has brought a renewed interest in gardening as well as healthy living.
