Wayne County PAWS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization, whose core mission is to provide support to the Wayne County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center. Our goal is to accomplish this through volunteerism, fundraising efforts and educational training opportunities, along with raising awareness of the necessities for the shelter and shelter animals. We are an all-volunteer organization who have a passion, and desire to assist the shelter in providing above standard care and compassion to each animal who arrives at the shelter.
Funds raised will go toward purchasing a new adoption trailer for the Wayne County Dog Shelter and implementing the shelter dogs' spay and neuter program.
