On 07/22/2017, two-year-old Kasen Sparks of Jay, OK suffered an anoxic brain injury due to a drowning accident. Initially Kasen’s family was given no hope, but Kasen fought back like a true warrior! Kasen is now in New Orleans, LA undergoing Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy. These treatments are very expensive and everything related to this therapy is out-of-pocket for the family. Insurance does not cover any of his treatment. The family is also living in a hotel room while still paying bills back home, all without a paycheck. They have also had to leave other young children back at home in Jay, OK. 

 Kasen has made very good progress given the initial circumstances! He can now hold his head up for short periods of time, responds positively to his family’s voices and touch, cries out when agitated or in pain, and has even grinned! The progress Kasen has made is only raindrops in a bucket, but with your help, we can help fill that bucket and give Kasen back a life and get our little warrior back home to Oklahoma!
