Description
Join us Saturday, September 28th for an insanely fun time benefiting Salem Dream Center!
The Mad Hatter Dash is the premier event for people with outrageous or amazing hats to step out, be seen, and enjoy some exercise.
The race will start in Wallace Marine Park Softball Complex at the entrance to the softball fields, run through Wallace Marine Park and across the beautiful and historic Union Street Pedestrian Bridge, up and over the Center Street bridge, through the trails of Wallace Marine Park and will finish back at the softball entrance.
Unique individual medals created by Salem Dream Center kids will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, for male and female runners in five age groups. There will be special awards for teams who compete. Finally, the participant with the best hat will earn the highly coveted Hatter’s Trophy. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in this family fun run, and of course, although hats are encourage for the Mad Hatter Dash, they are not required.
