Donate to the Foundation of Tigard Breakfast Rotary Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit.
Rotary's motto is "Service Above Self." Our foundation allows us to serve our community, support youth programs, and help fund Rotary International Global Grants. The Foundation of Tigard Breakfast Rotary Club has been a proud supporter of the Tigard Police Department K9 program, provides scholarships to graduates of Tigard High School, and supports many youth programs in our community.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our normal fundraising activities, including the Tigard Festival of Balloons, have been canceled in both 2020 and 2021. While our annual fundraisers have been canceled, our support has not. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have provided financial support to Tigard Meals on Wheels, Tigard-Tualatin School District's Packed with Pride, and the Ronald McDonald House of Portland. We have provided hygiene kits to Medical Teams International and recognized essential workers.
Projects we have supported through Foundation funds:
- Scholarships for graduating seniors of Tigard High School.
- Tigard Safe Grads graduation party.
- Tigard Police Department K9 Program
- Provide scholarships for young leaders to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.
- Provide dictionaries to 3rd grade students of Tigard schools.
- Support the Cordero House and Janus Youth Programs.
- Providing dinners to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Portland.
- Support Deer Creek Elementary Students with their "Hope Kits" for Medical Teams International.
