**Virtual** New Brighton Area PTO Lions' 5K / 1 Mile - Run or Walk - May 9 -16, 2020

We are excited to announce the Lions' 5K/1Mile is now virtual (please like and follow our page on Facebook at PTO Lions 5K and 1 Mile)l!  In light of what is happening in our world today, instead of cancelling the Lions' 5K/1 Mile; it is now a "Virtual" 5K or 1 Mile, run or walk for either event; pick a day from May 9 - May 16, 2020; choose a favorite location to run, or walk a 5K or 1 Mile (a neighborhood, treadmill, etc) & complete your event!  After running or walking your event; we encourage you to take a picture or video & post it to our Facebook Page - we will love to see your pictures & videos - it will make it even more fun!  We also encourage you to post any training pics or videos prior to event!  *The New Brighton ES gym teacher will also be sharing some training workouts on our Facebook page for the kids (or any adult who wants to join in too)!  

PRIZES & T-SHIRTS (if select to receive a t-shirt):  We have some prizes our local sponsors have generously donated (pics of these potential prizes will be appearing randomly on our Facebook Page prior to the day of the event).  When race entry closes after May 8, we will draw a winner for each prize from all entries that are local (local meaning: winner can drive to the New Brighton SD for prize pick-up).  Winners of prizes will be noted on our Facebook Page!

 NOTE:  T-shirts & awarded prizes will be available for "pick-up only" at the New Brighton AR SD after the social distancing guidelines have been lifted; updates regarding pickup dates/times will be listed on our Facebook Page.
