UCP Central PA has been creating opportunities for people of all ages with all types of disabilities for nearly seventy years. Today our nearly 2,000 employees deliver on our mission as we empower 4,000 people with diverse abilities each year to live a meaningful life through innovative support and services. We offer children who are experiencing delays in meeting developmental milestones various therapies to help them reach their full potential. We deliver a broad system of support for the entire family including grandparents and siblings.
We provide the support, resources, and access that helps people secure, maintain, and succeed at competitive, meaningful employment
We help people lead more independent, full, and engaging lives while volunteering, working, shopping, or participating in recreational opportunities
We are building strong community connections by matching each person’s strengths, preferences, and abilities with available local opportunities
We deliver compassionate care in the comfort of a person’s home to help them accomplish daily tasks
We provide a place to call home, and a nurturing and supportive family environment rich with life experiences for people
We provide the opportunity for people to manage their own supports and services
We restore and refurbish home medical equipment and assistive technology devices and redistribute to the community free of charge.
