The foundation was created in honor of 15-year-old, John Michael Gendek, whose courage, strength and spirit continue to inspire everyone who knew him. John faced pediatric brain cancer with incredible bravery, and through the JG3 Foundation, we are committed to carrying his legacy forward by offering hope and support to families facing pediatric brain cancer. The JG3 Foundation 5K Run/1M Walk will bring together families, friends, local businesses, athletes, and community members for a day of remembrance, hope, and purpose. Funds raised through this event will directly support children and families affected by pediatric cancer. Through the JG3 Foundation, we are able to provide emotional encouragement, practical resources, and financial assistance to families during one of the hardest journeys imaginable. Our mission is simple but deeply meaningful - to make sure no family facing pediatric brain cancer walks alone.
