As part of our community service project, we are proud to support the Veterans Support Fund at the Altoona VA Hospital. Our goal is to raise $3,000 through our Red, White & Run for Veterans 4K Run/Walk to help support the veterans who have courageously served our country.

But our mission goes beyond fundraising. We hope to visit the inpatients at the Altoona VA Hospital before Christmas to spend time with them, personally express our gratitude for their service and present our donation. We also plan to share a little holiday cheer by delivering goodie bags to brighten their spirits and remind them that their sacrifices are appreciated and never forgotten.

As students, we believe it is important to give back to the men and women who have given so much for our freedom. Through this project, we hope to bring our community together, make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veterans and show them that their service continues to inspire the next generation.

Every registration, donation and act of support brings us one step closer to our $3,000 goal and helps us share the true spirit of gratitude, generosity and patriotism.

Together, we can make a difference and remind our veterans that they are appreciated, remembered and never alone.
