Friends of Heinz Refuge (FOHR) Monarch Dash 5K

Join us for the Second Annual Monarch Dash 5K! This event will help raise funds for Friends of Heinz Refuge (FOHR) to support environmental education and habitat restoration at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, America’s First Urban Refuge!

Celebrate the magnificent monarch migration and get moving on your 5k journey! Runners and walkers are welcome to challenge themselves on the scenic loop course that will take participants along refuge trails following Darby Creek and Tinicum Marsh. CAUTION: trails may be muddy so dress accordingly! Join us for more fun at the Philly Fall Nature Festival that will take place after the race from 10 AM-3 PM. 

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before start time (8 AM) to register!

Top 1-3 overall and top 1-3 in each age group (age groups TBD)

Amenities:                   
Scenic loop course along refuge trails, refreshments, water stations, prizes, and a post-race festival! T-shirts will be given away on a first come, first served basis so arrive early!
