The event will raise funds for our HUP Nursing Community Healthcare Outreach Fund. Our nurses provide health education and host screening events to West Philadelphia community members.

HUP is also a proud to be a partner and early adopter of ANA’s Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation(TM) Grand Challenge, a national movement designed to transform the health of the nation by improving the health of America’s 3.6 million registered nurses.

Location:                  Shoemaker Green, Smith Walk, Philadelphia, PA 19104 at UPENN

                                $5 Event Parking at Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine at 3400 Civic Center Blvd.                           

Course:                 Penn Park - mostly flat blacktop path amongst the scenic PENN Athletic Fields

Awards:               

-Top 1-3 overall (M/F), 1st in each 10-yr age group (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+ M/F),

- Golden Sneaker Award for HUP Nursing Unit with highest participation count (yes, friends and families count!)

- Fastest Male and Female HUP RN

- Parent/Child Award – Fastest Parent & Child pair

- Team Costume

Entry:                   

Early Bird Registration (before 4/1/2017): $20, (after 4/1/17)Registration: $25, Day of Race: $30

Race will go off rain or shine, there is no rain date.

Amenities:           

T-shirts for all registered by 4/21/2017 and post-race refreshments
