In 1871, as the region of Tyrone started to settle, 31 residents saw a need for fire protection and started assisting the community as Neptune Steam Volunteer. Today, Neptune Fire Company has served our community as a volunteer fire company for over 150 years and is stationed at 1701 Lincoln Avenue in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
In 2024, Neptune Fire Company has 25 members assisting the community in more than 375 calls per year. Each firefighter is safely equipped with gear costing over $8,000 to help fight fires and assist the community.
Donations raised will assist operational funds and equipment upgrades.
