AdaptX is a 501(c)3 non-profit that addresses barriers to better health and fitness for individuals with disabilities through education, research, advocacy, and scholarship. We do so in several ways:

1. Providing the most comprehensive curriculum on inclusion and adaptive fitness for health and fitness professionals
   
   
2. Amplifying the voices of those with disabilities through both our co-designed curriculum and our podcast
   
   
3. Conducting research through the Rick Hoyt Research Lab where we perform impactful studies that improve fitness and reduce secondary health conditions for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. 
   
   
4. Organizing inclusive road races around the world to build inclusive communities, create opportunities, and make fitness and physical activity accessible for people with intellectual and physical disabilities
