The Cancer Association of Anderson is the only local cancer charity in Anderson County. As you may know, our mission is to help reduce the burden on Anderson County residents battling cancer, cancer survivors and their families by providing treatment-related financial assistance, information, and referral as well as emotional support.
By donating to Colors Against Cancer, you can rest assured that you are promoting an active and healthy event that will help CAA fulfill our mission! Our patient assistance expenses increased again in 2022, so fundraising events such as Colors Against Cancer remain vital to our ability to help local residents in their fight against this horrible disease. CAA assists any resident of Anderson County who is in active cancer treatment with up to $1,200 in treatment-related expenses including travel reimbursement for local as well as long distance treatment appointments, prescription medications, treatment related medical equipment, assistance with insurance premiums during treatment and eight weeks of oncology rehab.
