Description

Sara’s Cure 5k - Race for Research” is a family-friendly 5k held in the fall. All proceeds benefit Sara’s Cure and their mission.

Sara’s Cure is a grassroots, race-against-time campaign focused on funding critical research to find a cure for Clear Cell Sarcoma. The mission of Sara’s Cure is to make clear cell sarcoma survivable through education and scientific research while ensuring all patients and caregivers impacted have a voice and platform to enact change and strive toward the cure. Sara’s Cure began when Charleston native, Sara Woods, was diagnosed at age 17 & the family was told that there is no cure for this ultra rare cancer and no funding for research. We pay scientist directly to work on finding a treatment for Sara and all of the other young patients who have joined us in fighting this battle for their lives.

Come out and be a part of funding research to cure Clear Cell Sarcoma. This years event will be a Virtual Run only.
