Donors can make donations to specific charities listed below, or generally, Donors giving $30 or more can honor a veteran with a 2ft x 1.5ft sign; and those giving $10 or more can do the same with a 4in x 6in flag. The signs will be displayed individually, and prominently, along the course. The flags will be placed together prominently at the event. Participants at the event can pick up their flags there. All proceeds received for the flags and signs will be donated to Veteran service organizations, like other donations.
DESIGNATING WHERE YOUR DONATION WILL GO: As a first step, below, select a button under "Charity" below, to (i) designate a particular charity to receive your donation, or (ii) make a "general" donation, or (iii) designate that your donation (of at least $30) will be used for a sign to honor a veteran.
FOR A SIGN: If you'd like to honor a veteran with a 2ft x 1.5ft sign, please select the button (below, under "Charity") that is entitled "Sign 'In Honor Of' or 'In Memory Of' a Veteran", and enter an amount of $30 or more in the "Donation Amount" box. Then, click on the drop down menu box (which now reads "Donated By"). When you click on that menu box, it will give you the options to select either "In Honor Of" or "In Memory Of". Make that selection then, underneath that box, click on the "Other" button; a box for text will then appear. In that box, type the name of the veteran who you want to honor with the flag or sign. PLEASE NOTE THAT SIGNS CANNOT BE DONATED AFTER NOVEMBER 1, 2026, BECAUSE WE'LL NEED SOME TIME TO MAKE THE SIGNS BEFORE THE EVENT.
FOR A FLAG DONATION: If you'd like to honor a veteran with a 4in x 6in flag, please select a button (other than the button for a sign) from the buttons under "Charity" below, and enter an amount of $10 or more in the "Donation Amount" box below. Then, click on the drop down menu box (which now reads "Donated By"). When you click on that menu box, it will give you the options to select either "In Honor Of" or "In Memory Of". Make that selection then, underneath that box, click on the "Other" button; a box for text will then appear. In that box, type the name of the veteran who you want to honor with the flag or sign.
FOR A DONATION WITHOUT A FLAG OR SIGN: If you'd like to make a donation, without designating a specific veteran, please select a button (other than the button for a sign) from the buttons under "Charity" below. These buttons allow you to either (i) designate a specific charity to receive your donation, or (ii) make a general donation which can go to all charities. Then, under the drop down menu box that reads "Donated By", choose either the "My Name" button (if you'd like to be identified publicly as the donor) or the "Anonymous" button (if you prefer not to be identified publicly as the donor).
FOR MULTIPLE DONATIONS: If you'd like to make multiple (flag, sign and/or undesignated) donations, after your first donation, click on the tab or link you used to make your first donation. That step will take you either to the same screen and process that you used for your first donation, or to a screen with the heading "Thank You For Your Donation", which confirms your first donation. To make a second donation from this screen, you'll need to scroll down to the bottom, where you'll see a "Make Another Donation" button (a white button with blue lettering). If you click on that button, it will lead you to the same screen and process that you used to make your original donation.
