Pawleys Island Old Town Hall (OTH) began as a real estate office in the mid 1900's and was donated to the Town of Pawleys Island once it was incorporated. It served as the police headquarters and administrative offices for about 25 years, and was flooded several times.
The Town Council and people of Pawleys determined the OTH was a historical landmark and wanted to preserve it. There have been several upgrades to the landscaping and appearance of the building.
