Covington Rotary 2019 OCR

The Covington Rotary OCR is the first of a series of Obstacle Course Races at the newly built Covington Confidence Couse. This race is sponsored by the Covington Rotary Club.  The Covington Rotary Club is over 50 years old and has worked tirelessly along with the International Rotary Club to eradicate polio throughout the world. Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to: promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. Save mothers and children, support education and grow local economies. The proceeds from this race will be used to support non-profit organizations that are in line with our priorities in the local area including but not limited to (Amanda's Way, Carl Perkins,  Boys and Girls Club).  This race consists of  3 separate races a Sprint which will consist of completion of the 12 obstacles only.   A 2-mile race that will culminate in the completion of the 12 obstacles and last but not least a relay.  In order to participate in the relay, you must grab 3 of your battle buddies (4 person teams) each one of you must complete 3 obstacles along the course.  The fastest individual and team to complete the obstacle course earns bragging rights.  Are you up for the challenge!
