Renaissance Run will be held on the historic streets of Norris, Tennessee. The Renaissance Run began as a fundraiser to grant a college scholarship for an Anderson County High School graduate in memory of Michael Curtin. Now that this scholarship has been endowed, the Curtin family has graciously agreed to support the Norris Area Community Foundation by continuing the Run to grow the Foundation endowment. MISSION STATEMENT: The Norris Area Community Foundation provides a way for those who love the Norris Area (including Norris, Andersonville, Bethel and Fairview in Anderson County) to donate money and other resources for a variety of purposes, which will benefit current and future area residents. NACF will provide grants for community or economic development, historic preservation, education, cultural activities, recreation, environmental enhancement, humane care of animals, and other charitable purposes.
