Uniquely Me Virtual Run, Walk and Roll

Uniquely Me Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded to celebrate and support families and individuals living with limb differences such as TAR Syndrome and other rare disorders, while raising awareness through education.

Uniquely Me is here to support our families and individuals living with limb differences and rare disorders, and the communities they live in.  We are raising awareness through education, providing books to schools and libraries, as well as helping link families and individuals to resources and assist with access to adaptive aids, classes and camps for people with limb differences .  As a rare disorder there is a lack of information or education available to families or their communities.  

Education and awareness increases understanding in the community.  Often children in school may have little to no exposure to others with visible or invisible disorders or limb differences. By providing kids opportunities to learn about different disabilities and disorders, we start a conversation and increase the understanding about the larger world around them.  When we normalize differences we can see and embrace the unique abilities in all of us.  Children and adults with limb differences are strong and capable.  Differences do not make you weak, Difference is a strength.
