Why Frisco Faspacs?
Bobat Mini Miles is a proud supporter of Frisco Fastpacs, in honor of our friend and fellow student, Jackson Mitchell. Jackson was a strong advocate for ending childhood hunger - quietly paying for meals at school for students in need, sharing his own food without hesitation, and ensuring his classmates had the nourishment they needed to succeed.
What is Frisco Fastpacs?
Our mission is simple: to feed children enduring hunger in our community, nourishing their potential for healthier school days. Every week throughout the school year we deliver individual, pre-packed meal bags of non-perishable food to all 72 Frisco ISD schools. Each bag contains seven meals for children to have over the weekend. Frisco Fastpacs is a private 501(c)3 non-profit, that operates completely on donations of food and funds from the private sector.
Hunger in Frisco is a real problem and children should not fall victim; a student who is hungry cannot learn. In its inception, Fastpacs served one school and 35 children. Currently, we are district-wide, and feeding over 1200 students weekly; meanwhile, the need continues to grow.
