Save Giraffes Now (SGN) concentrates on collaborative community-led giraffe conservation programs across Africa.
Since 2019, SGN has become the second-largest NGO in the world devoted to giraffe conservation. SGN currently has over thirty giraffe saving projects in 10 countries. One of our completed projects is the subject of a National Geographic film released in the fall of 2022 titled Saving Giraffes: The Long Journey Home.
SGN’s approach is to manage and support programs that take concrete action to prevent the extinction of giraffe. To do so, SGN focuses all projects around three core pillars: anti-poaching, coexistence, and rescue and rewilding.
