Description

The Elephant Managers Association is holding its first virtual 5K. Join the herd and walk, run, bike, swim, or whatever activity you'd like in honor of elephants around the world on Elephant Appreciation Day, September 22, 2020. By signing up for this virtual 5K event, proceeds will go to the Elephant Managers Association (EMA) to aid in their mission: The EMA is dedicated to the welfare and survival of the world's elephants through improving communication, husbandry, research, education, and conservation.

Include this virtual 5K in your daily workout on the treadmill at home, or the gym. Take a moment to a walk with family or friends at your favorite park or get creative with laps in the pool or on a mountain bike trail, the options are endless.  Don't worry about your time either, this is all for a good cause, we do not require you to prove your effort or time; however, we would love to see your photos! Please tag us on social media using the hashtag #EMA2020virtual5K.

Each person who registers for the event will receive a fantastic medal that you can wear proudly to show off your support for Elephants and the folks at EMA. If you would like to make an additional donation along with your registration, please visit the donation page of the race website.  Thank you for joining the herd and supporting our efforts.
