Event Presented by: 2018 Houston Engineers Week Committee
Name: The Run of Pi – 5K Run and 1K Walk
Purpose: This race supports Houston area Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic (STEM) programs. The proceeds of the run will provide funds for local Houston elementary, middle, and high schools that support STEM programs.
Location: University of Houston – Main Campus (Start and End at Lynn Eusan Park)
Date and Time: Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 8:00 A.M.
Fees:
- 5K Run (Timed): $35
- 1K Walk (Not Timed): $20
- Student 5K Run & 1K Run/Walk (Not Timed): $15 (Open to Students in High School or Younger)
- Special Pricing for Corporate or Sponsor Teams (contact Jose.Delapena@5engineering.com for details).
Registration Includes:
- T-shirt for First 300 Registrants (Select size by February 5 to guarantee size selection)
- Finisher ribbons for Student Participants
- Medals for Top 3 Male and Female Runners (Overall)
- Medals for Top 3 Male and Female Runners (By Age Group)
- Team Award for Top Running Team
- Team Award for Best Costume
