This is a family-friendly event that benefits the Midlothian ISD Education Foundation (MEF). There will be a chip-timed 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

The Midlothian ISD Education Foundation

(MEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt philanthropic organization of citizens who share a vision of enhancing education in Midlothian ISD.  We work to increase private support for educational activities at MISD which benefit students and personnel by supporting activities not funded by tax dollars. MEF fosters creative approaches to education through private grants and involvement and awards Foundation funds through a volunteer Board of Directors made up of business, community and educational leaders.

Times:

8:30am - Packet Pick Up and Late Registration (closes at 9:30 am)
9:30am - Warm up - Swink Crossfit and Camp Gladiator
10:00am - 5K Start
10:10am - 1 MileFun Run/Walk Starts
11:30am - Awards Ceremony

Entry Fees:

Early Registration: Feb 1st - Apr 14th
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: $15
5K: $25

Late Registration: Apr 15th - Race Day
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: $20
5K: $30

Rowdy Runners (Shirt included)
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk & 5K: $5

Awards:

Medals will be given to the top three male and top three female 5K runners in each age category as well as one overall male and one overall female finisher.  The overall male and female finishers will also receive a prize package that includes a  $100 gift certificate to Dick's Sporting Goods.  Age categories are as follows: ages 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.  All participants under age 5 will receive a participation ribbon.

Please note that students involved in UIL Athletics are not eligible for cash, monetary or gift card prizes due to UIL's policy.

Packet Pickup:

April 23rd - 25th at MEF Office
(100 Walter Stephenson Rd. from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
April 26th - at event from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.
