Investing in Murphy’s Future Leaders
The Murphy Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation exists for one reason: to invest in the future of Murphy students.

Since its founding in 2006, the Foundation has awarded over $160,800 in scholarships to 104 graduating seniors. Each scholarship is more than financial support. It is a reflection of a community that believes in its students and is committed to helping them succeed.

A Legacy of Giving
The Murphy Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2003 with a vision of supporting and strengthening the local community. That vision quickly expanded to include investing in students.

In the early years, the Chamber awarded scholarships directly to graduating seniors. In 2006, the Scholarship Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to expand that impact and create a lasting legacy of support for Murphy students.

What began as a small program has grown steadily over time. Scholarship amounts have increased, and eligibility has expanded to ensure more students have access to this opportunity.
