Quitman/Lake Fork Kiwanis - 30 Years of Impact
For 30 years, Quitman/Lake Fork Kiwanis has supported our community through projects benefiting children, schools, parks, public safety, families in need, and community organizations.

Our impact has included:

Youth & Education: Scholarships, K-Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, Terrific Kids, BUG Program, school supplies, Project Graduation, 5th Grade Sky Ranch trip, Boy Scouts, Special Olympics and youth programs.
Parks & Recreation: Hogg Park playground equipment, basketball court, splash pad, stage, sunshades, walking trail, dog park, city pool improvements, Kid Fish and more.
Community & Families: Coats for Kids, Christmas food and gift boxes, Meals on Wheels, disaster relief, Christian Outreach Ministries and the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center.
Public Safety: Bulletproof vests for QPD, defibrillators, QVFD Fire Safety Trailer and other community safety projects.
Community Events: Hometown Christmas, Christmas Parade, 5Ks, Back to School Bash, Pet Fair, Bingo and other local events.
Fundraisers: Flag Program, Golf Tournament, Golf Ball Drop, Turkey Shoot, Tips for Tots and more.
Global & Kiwanis Causes: Eliminate Project, Iodine Deficiency Disorder Project, Kiwanis International Foundation Children’s Fund and other service initiatives.
