Donations can be made to Easy Street Animal Shelter. ESAS is located in Saint Jo and has helped over 1200 homeless dogs from the area since opening in 2014. They are a non-profit organization that focuses on finding forever homes for the dogs who come to them in need. All dogs are fully vetted and microchipped before adoption. In addition to helping the homeless dogs of the area, they have a number of programs to help area residents. A medical program to help senior citizens with the cost of veterinary care for their animals, a community spay and neuter program, a feral cat TNR program, free microchips and rabies vaccinations for area residents' dogs. They welcome donations and volunteers to help them continue their mission.
