F.O.A.R. is a non-profit 501c3 organization that operates the South Padre Island Animal Recovery Center and Shelter. We care for over 800 animals per year and serve as a resource for lower Rio Grande Valley pet lovers. 

F.O.A.R. reunites over 75% of the lost dogs and cats on the island. If you are visiting the island and lose or find a pet, please call us. We are here to help!
