About the Southern Utah Space Foundation
The Southern Utah Space Foundation is dedicated to astronomy education and outreach. We are in a prime location for astronomy and want to make sure that our community, and the large amount of tourists that come to the Southern Utah national parks and Shakespeare Festival every year, have the opportunity to see the skies using professional level equipment.
Right now we are fundraising for a solar telescope, which will expand our events to the daytime as well as the night. This race will help us to continue our mission, to advance astronomy outreach to everyone who comes to our community.
